ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.  We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance with the company of your choice. Insurance should be purchased immediately upon acceptance into the program. Please note this is an independent company and that Umbrian Serenades, LLC, does not receive any referral fees for this service, but merely suggests it as a resource.

Airfare: Participants are responsible for the purchase of airfare to and from SPAIN.

Age Requirement: There is a minimum age requirement of 18. Umbrian Serenades does not have an upper age limit. We do, however, encourage each applicant to self-evaluate his or her own physical stamina, as walking up and down these hills in a small Medieval Spanish town is part of the daily Umbrian Serenades experience.
-ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE DATES: Participants must leave the USA by Sunday, July 17th or earlier, to arrive at MADRID BARAJAS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (MAD) ON MONDAY, July 18th, in order to take the ALSA airport bus to SORIA.  That said, it is highly recommended that participants arrive one or even two days ahead of time to get over jet lag and get themselves with plenty of time to SORIA.  The program ends after breakfast on Friday, July 28, 2017 – a July 29 departure from Madrid is recommended.  Again, the ALSA bus is recommended to return back to either Madrid Center or Terminal 4 at Barajas International Airport.

 
NON-SINGING TRAVEL COMPANIONS: A number of non-singing travel companions are more than welcome to join our program, pending space availability, on a first-come, first served basis. These Umbrian Serenades “groupies”, as they are affectionately called, participate in all non-singing program activities, meals, day trips, walking tours, special events, etc., and are free to observe rehearsals, and attend all concerts. “Groupies” are just as important as our singing participants! Those singers planning on bringing a non-singing travel companion must indicate so on their application forms.
